I started my career right out of college, licensed in both securities and insurance, working for a brokerage firm. On paper it looked like a great opportunity. In reality I quickly realized what the job actually was — go find people with money, bring them in, and let the firm manage it.
It was never about the client. It was about the product.
I kept pushing myself to learn more — not to sell better, but to serve better. I wanted to be the kind of advisor who could actually sit across from someone and help them understand their money, not just tell them to trust the process and wait for the market to recover.
That search led me to a mentor who introduced me to Nelson Nash and the Infinite Banking Concept. The moment I understood what Nelson was teaching, everything changed. For the first time I had a strategy that put the client in control — not the bank, not Wall Street, not a brokerage firm. The client.
From that point forward I stopped being a salesperson and became an educator.
My father worked hard his entire life. Good W-2 income. He owned a home, paid for cars, raised my sister and me, and took care of his family. By every measure he was doing the right things.
But nobody ever sat down with him and showed him how to build real wealth. Why? Because the financial industry was not looking for people like him. They wanted the big lump sum accounts — the people with large portfolios to manage. My father was putting money away monthly, doing what he was supposed to do, and the industry walked right past him.
I never forgot that. And it is the reason I built my practice the way I did.
The families I work with are people like my father. W-2 earners. Homeowners. Business owners building something. People who are doing everything right but nobody has ever taken the time to show them a better way to structure their money.
That is exactly what I do. And I will never stop doing it.

I live in The Woodlands, TX with my wife — we have been married since 2010 — and our five children. Faith and family are the foundation of everything I do, both at home and in my practice.
